On mobile

On phones and small screens N3XD switches to a touch-first layout built for viewing models, light edits through the AI assistant, and multi-device collaboration. The full modeling tools stay on desktop.

The bottom bar

A persistent bar sits at the bottom of the screen:

  • Model: the model sheet (below).
  • Views: your Saved Views.
  • AI: the assistant chat, when available.
  • Undo / Redo: appear once there is history to step through.

Only one panel is open at a time: opening a sheet closes the chat and the other way round.

Sheets

Tapping a bar button slides a sheet up from the bottom edge. Close it by tapping the dimmed area behind it, the Close button, or the back gesture.

  • Model sheet: the read-only model tree (tap an assembly or part to expand, a sketch or feature to focus it in the viewport), plus the Status, View and Manage sections shared with the desktop sidebar. From here you can change the display style, toggle the grid, switch theme, export (STEP / STL / 3MF) and close the project.
  • Views sheet: save the current camera as a named view, tap one to fly back to it, re-capture, rename or delete. Views are stored with the project, so they are shared with desktop.

Editing

The tree and tools are view-only; the AI assistant is the way to make changes. Open the AI panel and describe what you want. It runs the same operations the desktop UI would.

Guided tutorial

The tutorial walks through the desktop toolbar and sidebar, so it is desktop only. Launching it on a phone shows a short card pointing you to a larger screen and leaves your chat untouched. Open the project on desktop and start it from the Guided tutorial card on your dashboard.
